She was responsible for guiding investors and site selection teams in their search for data center sites, development opportunities and business partners. Graf was also lead advisor within The Node Pole Alliance network, consisting of both world leading technology and construction partners, as well as local fast moving companies – all aimed at shortening investors’ time to market and maximising innovation synergies. Graf has extensive private and public sector marketing and communications experience, working with global brands in London and European Affairs in Brussels.

“We are delighted to have Anne on board. She has a broad industry network and brings the optimal combination of specialist expertise and local knowledge” says CEO Andy Long. “Anne will work with our existing and new clients to ensure their success with us. Her immediate focus will be on Nordic Systems Integrators where we are seeing great traction. Our new purpose built data center brings world class efficiency and service to the region for the first time, and Anne is a key hire in the Hydro66 gameplan.”

“I am joining Hydro66 because I share their vision. The environmental challenges and the exponential growth of IT means the world need new solutions to new problems. Hydro66 has an innovative and disruptive model for colocation services. Every company needs their data to be handled in the most sustainable way possible – financially and environmentally – and I look forward to helping our customers achieve that” says Anne Graf.

Graf joins the company on October 1st and will be based in the Hydro66 office in Sweden.

About Hydro66
Hydro66 helps forward-thinking companies match their applications with the optimal hosting environment. We provide ultra-efficient, green colocation solutions ideally suited for DR, backup, cloud compute and HPC.  The current data model is both broken and unsustainable. The vast majority of compute and store occurs in expensive city center locations using dirty power and unreliable grids. Rising electricity prices on capacity constrained urban grids compounds the problem. Meanwhile telecoms prices continue to fall at around 20% annually. Facebook, Google and Apple have solved this efficiently by building hyper-scale Nordic data centers beside vast electrical grids which are highly reliable, 100% green and at ultra-low power prices. Now enterprise, systems integrators and cloud companies can enjoy similar advantages to the Internet giants by working with Hydro66.
